What to Bring

Fancy testing your skills?

Archery is a sport that doesn’t require strength, but rather style, technique, and coordination. The core skills are picked up quickly, and there’s nothing more rewarding than the satisfying thud of the arrow hitting the target, with a bull’s-eye getting ever closer with each shot!

The archery session takes place in the stunning location of Glencoe, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the beauty of the setting definitely adds to the experience. Normally, the archery session will be with a group of family or friends and we enjoy making things a bit competitive.  It’s important to us that everyone has a great time, so there is laughter and levity, too.

Once booked, the session happens whatever the weather. As it’s all outdoors, make sure to dress for the conditions, and in the summer months, don’t forget your midge repellent! Whether you’re a seasoned archer or trying the sport for the first time, the memories made in Glencoe with family and friends will stay with you long after the session ends.

My wife, my 16 year old son and myself booked and took part in the archery activity that’s on offer. We all absolutely loved it having never doing it before. The instructor was incredibly informative and made it great fun.

There seems to be a lot written about segways, but seing as we are a pretty dab hand at riding segways, we decided to go for something a little different, and we chose archery. I arrived with my two sons, one who is 19 and the other who is 20.... In all a really good competitive hour of archery which everyone enjoyed, and rain, hail or snow I would certainly recommend doing this.

My husband, daughter, partner and myself decided to have a couple of days away in Glencoe. We noticed the centre was open over winter so decided to give archery a go. Vince looked after us very well and we were all hitting the target by the end if the session. Would highly recommend the centre and the staff were lovely. Many thanks! The Barmanroys
