Although we like to leave you to enjoy your stay, you can request a service of your lodge for any day during your stay. Simply pop in to reception or request it using the sheet which comes with your breakfast.

Eating is another great adventure! In normal times there are many options and we list these here.  Whilst some guests choose to stay around their lodge and enjoy a meal on their river-side terrace or overlooking the sea, others enjoy the good selection of bars, inns and restaurants within a 5 mile radius.  Our own café is currently closed but the reception team can direct you to the best places to eat around the loch!

RiverBeds and SeaBeds provide wondrous lodges on the Woodlands Glencoe  estate.  This special 36 acre site is nestled at the foot of the mighty “thunderbolt mountains”, with the dramatic peak known as “Dragon’s Tooth” forming part of the ridge.

There is a Golf Course which forms part of the estate which leads down to the lochside at Loch Linnhe.

There are easy walks just from the doorstep, as well as some fascinating historic sites on the estate, or near it.  Jump into your car for a few minutes, and there are other superb walks to discover nearby. The famous Glencoe Valley is only a  5 minute drive away and the mighty Ben Nevis sits proudly only 20 miles north-east of the estate.

Yes you most certainly can, and you can purchase them easily online here.

Yes, we’re open (and busy!) all year round.  In fact, many say that Winter is the best time to visit RiverBeds with snow-dusted hills and crisp, clear scenery.  Nothing like a cosy lodge and bubbling hot tub when it’s cold outside!

Roads do tend to stay open even in snowy conditions, but we recommend checking the Traffic Scotland and Met Office Weather websites before departing just to be sure.

The cancellation policy depends on the type of booking you have made. Non-refundable bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Free cancellation bookings allow for a cancellation and full refund up until 14 days before arrival.

We recommend that all guests carry travel insurance to protect their reservation.

Visiting Us

Yes! Of course! You may begin your tour as a novice but you will end it as a Segway Pro! Our amazing guides will help you build your confidence until you are gliding like you were born to glide!

We are pretty strict on the minimum weight limit on a Segway because the most important thing about gliding on a Segway is being in control, so you have to be heavy enough to maneuver it safely. With that being said, come on down and our lovely receptionists can check if a member of your group close to the minimum weight limit would be able to take part!

Sadly, our café will not reopen. However, as a visitor to Woodlands you can use our Lounge between 8am and 9pm – which has free wifi and is a super cosy space to relax.

Our lounge and toilets are open – and you are more than welcome to use them!
