What’s the location like?
RiverBeds and SeaBeds provide wondrous lodges on the Woodlands Glencoe estate. This special 36 acre site is nestled at the foot of the mighty “thunderbolt mountains”, with the dramatic peak known as “Dragon’s Tooth” forming part of the ridge.
There is a Golf Course which forms part of the estate which leads down to the lochside at Loch Linnhe.
There are easy walks just from the doorstep, as well as some fascinating historic sites on the estate, or near it. Jump into your car for a few minutes, and there are other superb walks to discover nearby. The famous Glencoe Valley is only a 5 minute drive away and the mighty Ben Nevis sits proudly only 20 miles north-east of the estate.

Visiting Us
I've never done Segway before, can I still do the tour?
Yes! Of course! You may begin your tour as a novice but you will end it as a Segway Pro! Our amazing guides will help you build your confidence until you are gliding like you were born to glide!
My child is under the weight limit, does that mean they definitely can't come?
We are pretty strict on the minimum weight limit on a Segway because the most important thing about gliding on a Segway is being in control, so you have to be heavy enough to maneuver it safely. With that being said, come on down and our lovely receptionists can check if a member of your group close to the minimum weight limit would be able to take part!
Is your café open?
Sadly, our café will not reopen. However, as a visitor to Woodlands you can use our Lounge between 8am and 9pm – which has free wifi and is a super cosy space to relax.
Can we use your facilities?
Our lounge and toilets are open – and you are more than welcome to use them!
