Keeping our 21 luxury lodges, Clubhouse and offices looking immaculate day after day is a big job, but it’s one that makes a huge difference to our guests’ experience and our housekeeping team play a vital role in creating the beautiful, welcoming spaces that Woodlands is known for.

Summary

As our Clubhouse Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and seamless experience for every guest who visits Woodlands. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Clubhouse, leading and supporting our Reception Team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensuring our high standards are consistently maintained.

This is a varied role that combines people, operations and commercial focus. Alongside supporting the team on the front line, you’ll help manage and improve our processes, oversee standards across the Clubhouse and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. The role also includes a range of administrative and revenue-focused responsibilities, including rate management, PMS management and departmental reporting.

As our Estate Duty Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Woodlands, supporting different areas of the business and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Working across the estate as needed, you’ll provide support in areas including reception, housekeeping, activities, the bar and other departments, helping to cover holidays, days off and busy periods while maintaining the high standards our guests expect. You’ll become a true all-rounder, gaining experience across the business and playing an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences.

This is a full-time, year-round position (although we’re happy to discuss part-time options for the right person). The key is having a flexible mindset, a positive attitude and the enthusiasm to get stuck in wherever you’re needed.

Business Administrator

Summary

As we continue to expand, we need a dedicated Business Administrator to help support our day-to-day operation; helping make sure that our business runs smoothly. As a Business Administrator, you will play an essential role in supporting our business operations. You’ll assist with a range of tasks to keep the business organised and efficient.

This role is for a fixed period to begin with to cover maternity leave, but our business is growing so it’s very likely that the position will be made permanent longer term for the right candidate. Ideally we are looking for an experienced Business Administrator with good experience to take leadership in the role, but we would also consider training up someone with less experience should they have the right attitude.

Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Greenkeeper to join our team and work closely with our Estate Manager to maintain our beautiful 9-hole Golf Course, machinery and wider Estate to the highest possible standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, loves the outdoors and enjoys seeing the results of their efforts. Ideally, you’ll have previous greenkeeping experience, but we’re also keen to hear from people with strong practical skills, a great work ethic and a genuine passion for working outside.

Our approach follows industry best practice, with the flexibility needed to work with the ever-changing Scottish weather. The role is naturally seasonal, with the busiest periods during the warmer months when growth is at its peak, and a quieter pace through the winter. It’s a hands-on, physical role that requires enthusiasm, attention to detail and a willingness to work hard in all conditions.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and you’ll become an important part of the team responsible for keeping Woodlands looking its very best all year round.

Activity Guide

Summary

As an Activity Guide, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests across the Woodlands Estate. This is an exciting time to join our growing Activities department, with new experiences and ideas constantly being developed as we continue to expand what we offer.

From leading fun and memorable Segway tours and archery sessions to supporting our e-bike hire, axe throwing and helping golfers with buggy hire, you’ll be at the heart of making sure every guest leaves with a smile on their face. Alongside our activities, you’ll also support our growing Golf Course, which welcomes an increasing number of members, competition players and pay-and-play golfers throughout the year.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. We’re looking for someone who loves being outdoors, enjoys meeting new people and has the enthusiasm to help bring our experiences to life. You’ll be an important part of leading and developing this exciting area of the business as we continue to grow.

Hot Tub Supervisor

Summary

A big part of the magic at Woodlands is our luxury hot tubs, making this a hugely important role in creating the perfect guest experience. We’ve built a real speciality in cleaning, servicing and maintaining our tubs to an exceptional standard every day and now we’re looking for someone to join our Hot Tub Team and help us keep them looking their best.

Working from 10am–3pm every day, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of hot tub care, including daily cleaning, chemical checks, filter maintenance, drain and refill processes, and keeping the surrounding outdoor areas and fire pits looking immaculate.

It’s a hands-on, active role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing things well and wants to be part of a small team creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Summary

This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for maintaining and improving all areas of the Estate, while supporting and coordinating the wider maintenance team. From keeping our 9-hole Golf Course in excellent condition to managing projects, planning works and ensuring the right resources are in place, you’ll help bring our vision for the Estate to life.

The role combines practical problem-solving with organisation and forward planning. You’ll oversee day-to-day upkeep, manage contractors and projects, maintain our online property management systems and ensure standards are consistently high across the Estate.

Maintenance Technician 🛠

Summary

At Woodlands, we take great pride in creating a beautiful, well-maintained destination for our guests, and our Maintenance Team plays a hugely important role in making sure everything works as it should, every day.

Working closely with our Estate Manager, you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of maintenance tasks across the Estate, helping to keep our lodges, facilities and outdoor spaces in excellent condition. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in larger improvement projects that help us continue to develop and enhance the Woodlands experience.

This is a hands-on, practical role where no two days are the same. From repairing equipment and carrying out general repairs to completing painting and decorating, basic plumbing, electrical tasks and responding to day-to-day maintenance needs, you’ll help solve problems quickly and keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll also use our online maintenance management system to organise, prioritise and complete tasks efficiently, ensuring our high standards are maintained across the Estate.
