Outdoor adventures, galore!
From climbing Ben Nevis (or at least pretending you’re going to) to kayaking on Loch Linnhe, Woodlands Glencoe is perfectly situated for a girl gang who love a bit of action! However, if you’re not in the mood to leave the Woodlands Estate, adventure can be enjoyed right on the doorstep. The Woodlands Activity Centre is situated seconds away from the lodges where groups can take a Segway tour around the estate or hire e-bikes and head out along the super-safe Caledonia Way Cycle Track. Furthermore, there’s golf, archery and axe throwing sessions available and innumerable forestry tracks if you’d simply like to head into the surrounding hills together.

Let’s be honest, one of the best reasons to visit the Highlands is the incredible food and drink!
Start your evening with one of our in-lodge whisky tasting kits (or a gin tasting kit if that’s more your style), before heading over to the Clubhouse Bar. Sip on expertly hand-shaken cocktails, challenge your friends to a board game and settle in for a laid-back evening. When hunger strikes, Kitchen Food Truck, located on the terrace of the Clubhouse Bar, serves up delicious breakfast, brunch and dinner daily. Expect hearty Highland favourites like rich beef and Guinness casserole with fluffy dumplings, stacked juicy burgers and, if you’re feeling indulgent, the legendary pre-order seafood boil that’s perfect for sharing.

A sample hen weekend itinerary
Day 1
4pm – check in & chill out as you begin day one of a two-night stay at SeaBeds Luxury Lookouts. These lodges sleep up to four (one king-size bed & one double sofa-bed).
More than four? Simply book some of the neighbouring SeaBeds and invite more hens!
5pm – head to the Clubhouse Bar for a complimentary drink to kick things off.
7pm – order hand-stretched pizzas to be delivered directly to your lodge.
9pm – pick your favourite film and embrace movie night on the drop-down projector screen or grab some boardgames from the Clubhouse Bar.
Day 2
8am – Breakfast is dropped off at your lodge.
10am – Book one of the group sessions at Woodlands Activity Centre – e-biking, axe throwing, segway tours and archery lessons are all available for groups.
1pm – If you book e-bikes, you can cycle along to Castle Stalker & enjoy lunch at the Pier House.
4pm – Facials, massage and Wilderness Sauna sessions at Woodlands Wellness
7pm – Dinner & drinks at Kitchen Food Truck
10pm – return to your lodge & stargaze while you toast marshmallows on the fire pit.
Day 3
It’s time to say goodbye! Why not treat yourself to a late check-out and give yourselves an extra hour in the lap of luxury?!
After breakfast indulge in one last soak in the hot tub before heading over to Woodlands Wellness for a group sound bath?!
Lie down, close your eyes, and let a symphony of gongs, singing bowls & chimes gently wash over you. The idea is that the vibrations shake loose any stress, tension and stray thoughts that are cluttering your body & brain.
Once you’ve checked out, we recommend heading out on one of hundreds of incredible local hikes before you leave Glencoe.
