The Relaxation Retreat
For the “I’m here to do absolutely nothing” folks 🌿
9.30am: Gently wake to the soft whir of remote-control curtains revealing THAT view over Loch Linnhe, all from the comfort of linen-wrapped kingsize at SeaBeds Luxury Lookouts. Enjoy the freshly prepared goodies that were silently dropped off outside your lodge in a cute breakfast basket.
10.30am: Tip toe across the terrace into your private infinity hot tub, breathe in the fresh Highland air and watch the wildlife play in the surrounding mountains and forests.
12pm: Wander to Woodlands Wellness and enjoy a 75-minute bespoke massage, followed by a Wilderness Sauna experience. Feeling brave? Plunge into our ice bath for a true Nordic blast or opt for the slightly gentler bucket shower for a bracing rinse with Highland water.
2.30pm: Pick up some tasty snacks from the Clubhouse on your way back and settle into a snacking groove whilst watching the natural world fly, buzz and pad past your terrace.
6.30pm: Can’t bear to leave the comfort of SeaBeds Luxury Lookouts? Order wood-fired pizza from Quarrier’s Kitchen, delivered straight to your lodge. Add a glass of complimentary Prosecco and voilà – the perfect night in!
9pm: The perfect night in is about to get a whole lot better! Pop down the cinema screen, flop onto the sofa bed and queue up your favourite series.
The Adrenaline Junkie’s Escape

Adventure is never far away at Woodlands. Our on-site Activity Centre offers action-packed fun minutes from your lodge, and you can even save money when you book two or more activities in a day!
9am: Kick things off with a Segway tour around the estate. Glide through the trees and enjoy the novelty of zooming through nature on your very own flying carpet!
10.30am: Refuel with a ‘Big Scottie’ breakfast roll at the Kitchen Food Truck. Bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, the works!
11.30am: Pick up an e-bike and follow the Caledonia Way Cycle Track, which runs right through the estate and leads you all the way to Oban or Fort William, mostly off-road. Safe and scenic, it’s the perfect option for full-day explorers. On the way, you’ll pass medieval castles, hedgehog hospitals, ancient forests, herds of Highland Cows and shimmering lochs!
3.30pm onwards: Want to go even bigger? Woodlands sits in Lochaber ‘the Outdoor Capital of the UK’ meaning there’s a world of adrenaline filled activities within a very short drive. Try wild swimming, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, horse riding and of course, you could tackle Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK!
6pm: After the climb, we recommend booking a table at the Ben Nevis Inn, a gorgeous, converted cattle barn with hearty Highland dishes, craft beers and well-earned bragging rights!
The Romantic & Proposal Getaway

Every lodge at Woodlands was designed with romance in mind, so even doing nothing together feels like everything. But if you’re ready to go all in, you could always pre-order one of our special packages: Ultimate Romance or even the Marry Me Package! These include all the extra sparkle, think surprise decor, fizz, flowers and a very special moment waiting at check-in!
9am: Breakfast in bed, naturally. Then coffee in the hot tub, gazing at lochs and mountains, plotting out your perfect day together.
11.30am: We highly recommend a stop-off at Stiff Peaks for delicious local picnic goodies. Hike hand-in-hand at one of our favourite romantic walks or surprise your beloved with a ring-on-the-finger kind of mountaintop moment!
4pm: Return to the dreamy confines of Woodlands Wellness where you can enjoy a couples massage.
6.30pm: Head up to Kitchen Food Truck for a dinner for two like no other. The romantic seafood boil for two pairs perfectly with a bottle of chilled champagne!
8.30pm: Why not pick up a board game from the Clubhouse, return to your cosy lodge and let the Highland romance play on!
The Dog Lover’s Stay
Because holidays are better with paws 🐾
Bring your furry family members! For just £50 per stay (not per dog), all dogs are welcome and greeted with a tail-wagging doggy hamper including treats, towel, bowl and even poo bags!
9am: Start the day with a scenic walk straight from your lodge into the hills along safe forestry tracks. Expect happy sniffs, waggy tails and stunning Highland views.
11am: Back at the lodge, your pup dozes off next to you while you soak in the hot tub for the afternoon.
6.30pm: Dinnertime! Head to the Kitchen Food Truck for a romantic doggy dinner date. Delicious eats for humans, plus doggy ice cream and pooch-friendly specials. Open ’til 8pm.
8pm: End the day with our special Cosagach Kit, everything you need for a cosy night by the fire pit: marshmallows, skewers, a s’mores-making kit and listen to the crackle of the fire and the soft snore of your hound at your feet.
The Golfing Getaway
For those chasing the perfect swing 🏌️
Tucked inside Woodlands Glencoe is a 9-hole gem of a golf course, named Scotland’s best and one of the Top 50 in the world. Tee off with mountain backdrops and lochside views just steps from your luxury lodge.
8am: Start your morning on our relaxed, award-winning course. Non-members are welcome with pay & play and club hire options.
10.30am: If you’re a frequent visitor (near or far), pop into the clubhouse reception and ask about our Dragon’s Circle Membership. It’s great value for non-locals and perfect for those who dream of Highland golf on repeat.
1pm: Explore other incredible courses like: Traigh Golf Course (75 mins) – a seaside links beauty along the Road to the Isles. Fort William Golf Club (30 mins) – beneath Ben Nevis with sweeping views or Glencruitten Golf Course (50 mins) – a James Braid design nestled in Oban’s hills!
5pm: Enjoy some dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants on your way home.
7pm: Pre-order a whisky tasting kit to be delivered to your lodge, the perfect way to raise a glass to a great round, with a curated selection of Scotland’s finest single malts!
8pm: Fire pit on, whisky in hand, scorecards compared. Just try not to bring up that bunker on the 5th!
